Our History
First International Trade
Jan imports a spare hood, door and bumper from Canada to the Czech Republic to fix a damaged vehicle for a client. The beginning of a trading empire has started!
A Family Venture
With his father and brothers, Jan opens a vehicle dealership in the Czech Republic specializing in the distribution of parts for American vehicles.
First International Vehicle
The dealership expands its expertise by supplying their first vehicle to the European market, a 1989 Ford Probe imported from the Canadian market.
The Move To Canada
Jan and wife, Jana, move to Canada to begin expanding the sourcing of vehicles and parts for the quickly expanding family business.
Atlantic Auto Performance Ltd Is Born
Atlantic Auto Performance Ltd is formally incorporated in Canada. As international vehicle sales begin to increase, Jan and Jana work together to create a new brand.
Connecting The World
Atlantic Auto Performance is invited to join the newly created European Association of Independent Vehicle Traders (EAIVT), forming new and long lasting international partnerships.
European Growth
As the Euro reaches all time highs, the Atlantic Auto Performance supply network stretches across Canada, the US, and Mexico, allowing for record breaking sales.
China Opens Import
As China looks to expand its burgeoning vehicle market, the Chinese government opens the market to parallel vehicle trade. A new era of sales and Letter of Credit processing has begun.
The Electric Revolution
After years of developing strong ties within China's automotive networks, Atlantic Auto Performance begins to import electric vehicles from China to the European marketplace.
